With nearly five years of combined experience at two full service digital marketing agencies, I’ve worked with clients of all types: large, enterprise healthcare organizations, pet pharmaceutical companies, mom-and-pop moving and storage businesses, automotive collision repair franchises, e-commerce coupon platforms, and everything in-between. At these stops, copywriting (and editing) was a crucial responsibility. I also got the opportunity to expand my horizon and learn how to create strategies and work hands-on with clients.
Prior to these stops, I had only garnered experience of digital marketing through the lens of public relations. Working in an agency setting taught me invaluable lessons how to view copy with a larger strategic approach, including how to improve your visibility with SEO tips and how to work with other teams to ensure everybody is rowing in the same direction to maximize client results. I also had the opportunity to work with several managers who taught me the nuances of how to manage client expectations and communicate outcomes.
